Outsiders is back!

Outsiders, the 5th annual Liverpool Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Film Festival, returns on Saturday 18th October with the UK Premiere of the glorious musical comedy Were the World Mine. Some thirty+ events later, on Halloween, the festival comes to an end with a midnight screening of the new movie from Gay Times columnist Bruce LaBruce, the gay zombie flick Otto; Or, Up With Dead People. In between, we'll be bringing you a selection of the best queer movies of recent years.

We're also honoured to have so many guests at this years festival: poet, film critic and Trans superstar Roz Kaveney; filmmakers Julian Cole and Jim Hubbard; and a genuine hero of our times, the author of Faggots and The Normal Heart, a man who has, by his actions, saved countless lives around the world, Larry Kramer - poet, prophet, playwright, activist, here in Liverpool, in person. Welcome to Liverpool, Larry - and thank you.

Love and thanks,

Matthew Fox, Joan Burnett and Michelle Mangan xx
