Outsiders Film Festival regretfully will not be able to put on its usually diverse and exciting collection of films and events for our loyal audience and friends. This is due to lack of available funds for this current year, so we have been ticking over with the intention to bring you a full-on festival back with a vengeance for 2010.

We really are grateful for the messages of support and encouragement we’ve received, with respect to keeping the festival going. We also must thank our friends at FACT and City Screen for continuing to support us in our delivery of monthly screenings of a select group of films that we hope our audiences have enjoyed.

2009 has been a very tough year for Outsiders financially but we have managed to put on regular events for our LGBT film audiences on no budget so please support us in any way you can to ensure the future of the festival by donating online or suggesting fundraising activities.

We are also looking for new blood to be a part of Outsiders future, whether it be trustees, patrons or enthusiastic volunteers who share our passion for bringing the best in queer cinema to Liverpool and beyond. If this interests you please contact us online.
