When Scot’s mother dies, he’s sent to live with his uncle Ed and his partner Sam, a former professional ice hockey player. But while 11 year old Scot has no problem with Ed and Sam’s relationship, his new guardians are so square, so conventional, they might as well be straight. And poor effeminate Scot, with his passion for Broadway musicals and flamboyant dress sense, is just - well, how can I put it? – too gay for Ed and Sam to cope with.
