Supporting Outsiders

Liverpool has a great tradition of queer art. It’s a tradition that includes such figures as Brian Epstein, Terence Davies, Clive Barker, Marc Almond, Chris Bernard, Holly Johnson, Carol Anne Duffy, Pete Burns, Thomas Lang, Paul O’Grady and Gary Sollars.

In the past we have received donations from Richard Wilson, Neil Bartlett, Tom Stoppard – and from many more individuals who asked to remain anonymous.

We have also received support from Bolland and Lowe, Hope Street Hotel, 3345 Parr Street, Age Concern, Train 2000, FACT, Picturehouse at FACT, Wordsworth Books and Titan Publishing Ltd amongst others for which we are very grateful.

You can support us by:

• Donating goods and services to the festival as sponsorship in kind
• Offering a discount on goods and services
• Becoming a media partner of Outsiders, marketing your product to the lesbian & gay communities in Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales as well as film enthusiasts in general
• Sponsoring a screening or event
• Making a personal donation

In return:

• Your logo and branding will feature in all our marketing materials and on our website. Currently we produce a Festival brochure which has a print run of 25,000 and our website has just been redesigned to great effect by local company Delicious Creative
• Your logo and branding will also feature in the festival trailer, which will be shown in front of all our screenings from October 2008 onwards.
• Your logo and branding will feature on our audience feedback and data collection forms
• If sponsoring a screening or event, your promotional material will be placed in the host venue for the event in addition to the benefits outlined above
• If making a personal donation, your name will added to our supporters list if you wish and you will be kept up-to-date with Festival developments in a quarterly newsletter
